ohne-fructose.com is a low fructose food startup since 2017 and was renamed in January 2023 from Haseklee ... carefree eating to ohne-fructose.com.

Due to various food intolerances in the family (fructose, gluten, lactose, histamine) and the realisation that many products offered are supposed to be fructose-free/sugar-free, but the list of ingredients contains sugar in the modified form of maltitol, isomalt or agave syrup, the idea for this shop was born.

Since we have the same intolerances as the products we offer, we first test all foods extensively for taste and tolerance and for many of them we have also written down our delicious recipes.

With us, you can eat carefree again and since most of the products are also processed or eaten at home, we know about the good taste and tolerance.

Suitable and well-tolerated - BEFORE AND AFTER the period of abstinence.

- Spelt syrup - with glucose and maltose content.

- Cereal sugar - consists of dried glucose syrup and can be used very well for baking.

- Glucose (also called dextrose or dextrose) - is not good on its own for baking as the dough collapses on itself

- Glucose syrup - pay attention to the composition - see also not tolerated

- Maltose (also called malt sugar)

- Milk sugar (lactose) - if NOT lactose intolerant

- Rice syrup - from glucose and maltose

- Rice sweetener - from dried rice syrup

AFTER the abstinence phase - well tolerated sweeteners / sugar alcohols

- Erythritol (E 968) belongs chemically to the sugar alcohols.

tolerated by some people AFTER the period of abstinence.

However, everyone has to find out for themselves where their own tolerable limit is.

- Glucose-fructose syrup

- Coconut blossom sugar - consists almost exclusively of sucrose, so it is almost like household sugar.

- Lactulose (consists of D-galactose and fructose)

- Oligosaccharides and polysaccharides e.g. oligofructose, inulin or fructans - all of which are also found in many cabbages and legumes, wheat, asparagus etc.

- Sucrose - should be included in the diet of people with fructose malabsorption so that the intestines do not forget how to process it.

- Xylitol or E 967, also known as birch sugar - CAUTION - xylitol is very toxic for pets even in very small quantities and can lead to coma and death!

- Sugar couleur E150 - sugar or beet syrup is heated to 120 - 150 °C. It is used in dark drinks, sausages, sausage meat and other food. Can be found in dark drinks, sausages or bread (e.g. soft drinks, whisky, etc.).
